Boston Model UN

Oct. 16 2014 Email -

"Good Evening, Fellow Delegates!

I'm Ryad Yunus, director of BosMUN.

So, if you have not heard, there is a "Model United Nations" meeting in Boston. This is essentially a mock "UN" meeting for students such as ourselves to get a nice grasp on what how a real delegation meets and performs. I have found it a great experience, as I went in freshman year, and others have found it enjoyable and informative. This year, BosMUN will be held in Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel, during February 6th-8th. This is during Feb. Vacation.  Now, this is simply a introductory email. If you have interest in joining, please send me an email, and do check with your parents first. I expect all responses by the end of the 21st (Tuesday) and I will be asking the entire group on MUNday! Please check with your family if they will be alright with you going (any plans, etc.). Depending on the amount of people, the cost may range from 120-200 dollars, so the more people who come, the less money each individual has to pay. You will hear from me around the 22nd on how much we would have to pay exactly.

Ryad Yunus

Director of BosMUN

P.S. If you have any conflicts, yet are still interested, please email me at ryadyunus@hotmail.com. I check that email more often."

"Good Afternoon, Delegates.

Once again, it is Ryad, the director of BosMUN. I recently sent an email regarding BosMUN and have realized that the dates on there, Feburary 6th-8th, are NOT during Feburary vacation. Chances are, if we do end up going, we will miss a Friday of school and the following weekend. As registration ends the 27th, we need to make moves fast. So, if people are willing to go to BosMUN and pay the amount of money, then we will go. However, I need 10 people to respond to me BY THURSDAY. The earlier the better. If 10 people have not responded by Friday, willing to go, the plan will be cancelled, sad to say. If you want more information, all the things you need SHOULD be in my earlier email, or if you need, contact me personally at ryadyunus@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Ryad Yunus"

"Sorry,

Almost forgot! If we DO get 10 people, and something "comes up" and intrudes on your plans, you WILL be committed to pay the registration cost ANYWAY. So make sure, if you want to go, you check your calendar, and are okay with missing one day of school, and a weekend. If the plan occurs of course. If we get less than 10 people, then it's fine, no need to worry about giving me money.

Thanks,

Ryad Yunus

Director of BosMUN"
